General Evacuation & First Response Instruction
(Emergency Response Procedures)
This course is a must for all staff in order to meet the Building Fire Safety Regulations 2008 and also Australian Standard 3475 2010. It will cover the basics for evacuation in an emergency situation. The course will provide information on the following:
General evacuation instruction:
- the location of fire equipment in the building; and
- the procedures for evacuating the building safely in the event of a fire or hazardous materials emergency.
First-response evacuation instruction:
- the method of operation of manually operated fire alarms; and
- the operation of fire fighting equipment in the building; and
- procedures specific to your particular tenancy and building.
