TRAINING
Evacuation Exercises (Evacuation Drill)
This exercise is designed to be a practice run for all Wardens and Emergency Response Team members, to evaluate the response in event of an emergency and provide a practical application of the roles and responsibilities that have been learned.
The Building Fire Safety Regulation 2008 requires an evacuation exercise to be performed at least once a year to test the effectiveness of the written Fire & Evacuation Plan for a building, this is also addressed in Australian Standard 3745 2010 and Australian Standard 1851 section 19. The purpose of an evacuation exercise is to identify any deficiencies and weaknesses in current procedures, test the knowledge and skills of the Emergency Control Organisation (ECO) members and ensure building occupants are familiar with evacuation procedures.
Available: IN PERSON (Group)
